Tsavo East is known for huge herds of elephants covered in red dust from wallowing and dust bathing. Salt Lick Safari Lodge is located in the heart of the private Taita Hills Sanctuary, bordering Tsavo West National Park. It has very unique concept rooms elevated on stilts, each overlooking a waterhole and linked by suspended walkways. At night, the waterholes are floodlit ensuring that you enjoy an uninterrupted view of the numerous animals arriving to quench their thirst. Amboseli National Park is home to large Elephant herds roaming the savannah. It has magical view of majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro snow-capped peaks.

Day 1

Mombasa - Tsavo East

Depart from your Mombasa hotel breakfast and drive along the Mombasa - Nairobi road to Tsavo East National Park. Enter Tsavo East through Bachuma gate and with a safari game drive to Ashnil Aruba Safari Lodge for lunch and a short rest. Afternoon safari game drive in Tsavo East. Dinner and overnight in Ashnil Aruba Safari Lodge.

Day 2

Tsavo East - Amboseli

Breakfast, short safari game drive then exit Tsavo East, drive along the Mombasa - Nairobi road to Amboseli National Park. Enter Amboseli through Iremito gate and drive to Ol Tukai safari Lodge for lunch with game viewing en-route. Optional visit to a Masai village with Afternoon safari game drive. Dinner and overnight at Ol Tukai Safari Lodge or similar.

Day 3

Amboseli - Tsavo West

Breakfast and thereafter game drive en-route. With clear weather, the morning is always good to view Mount Kilimanjaro and Amboseli wildlife. Thereafter join the convoy to Tsavo west national Park making a stop at the Shetani Lava. Check-in at the Chyulu gate and later proceed to Kilaguni Sererea Safari Lodge for Lunch. Afternoon safari game drive and a visit to the Rhino sanctuary before returning to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Tsavo West - Saltlick Game sanctuary

Breakfast and thereafter proceed on a game drive with a visit to Mzima springs where you can view fish, crocodiles, hippos and other aquatic animals from an underground observation tank. Thereafter drive along the Mombasa - Nairobi road to Saltlick Safari lodge in Taita Hills Saltlick Game Sanctuary for check–in and lunch. Afternoon game drive en-route to Saltlick Safari Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 5

Saltlick Game Sanctuary - Mombasa

Early morning game drive returning to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, continue with another game drive en-route to Voi Wildlife Lodge for lunch. After lunch drive back to Mombasa arriving at your beach hotel in the evening.
