Aberdares National Park, located in Kenya’s central highlands, is a high-altitude national park that is part of the Aberdare Mountain Range. Elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white Columbus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs, and bushbucks are among the animals that call it home. The Giant Forest Hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat, and blue duiker are all rare occurrences.

Day 1
Transfer to the hotel

On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2
Nairobi to Aberdares

Pick up from your hotel drive to Aberdares to arrive for lunch at Aberdares Country club the base hotel for Ark Hotel. Thereafter transfer to the lodge where you will spend the rest of the day at the tree lodge on the lookout for the animals visiting the watering hole.

Day 3
Aberdares to Lake Nakuru

Bird watchers view Lake Nakuru National Park as the biggest World ornithological spectacle on the planet since it is one of the areas with the largest bird spectacle that feeds on the algae that thrives in the lake's warm water. It is well-known for its rhino sanctuary (both black and white) and is home to a variety of species including buffaloes, giraffes, and baboons.

After breakfast rejoin your driver and depart for Lake Nakuru to arrive for lunch. Afternoon game drive.

Day 4
Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

After breakfast depart for Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives until sunset.

Day 5
Masai Mara Full Day

Spend the full day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty sited at the banks of Mara river.

Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Masai village for a Masai cultural tour at USD 20. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people. A balloon safari at USD 380 per person can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

Early morning game drive. After breakfast depart for Nairobi where your safari ends.
