AA Lodge Amboseli

AA LODGE AMBOSELI is designed as tents, cottages and superior rooms which is custom made to offer the best in a rugged rustic Amboseli.

Strategically located 4km outside Amboseli National Park main gate (Kimana Gate). Conveniently within the Emali-Loitoktok highway, it is 240 km from Nairobi, 90 km from Namanga and 16 km from Amboseli airstrip.
The lodge is set in 60 acres of land and commands a strategic location due to its proximity to the park, the authentic culture of the local Maasai Community and the panoramic views of the snow caped Mt. Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest free standing mountain.

Accommodation :
With a total of 60 rooms, the lodge is intimate and friendly with many personal touches. It offers some of the finest accommodation experiences with rooms’ facilities tastefully furnished and modern. Based on guests taste and preferences, the lodges diverse room portfolio gives guests option to choose with bed occupancy set as double, twin, triple, double plus an extra bed. A quartet and a baby coat can also be arranged.

There are 26 classic tents, 3 family tents, 18 classic cottages, 6 family cottages and for those looking for a more luxurious experience – the 7 superior rooms will with no doubt meet the best of the expectation – they are more spacious and guests can view Mt. Kilimanjaro at the comfort of their rooms through the glass windows and the door to the balcony.

The rooms are elegant, fully furnished, and spacious with wardrobe, reading table, hair dryers, safe deposit and private balcony.

Dining
There are various dining options. The main restaurant sits up to 130 guests at a time. It has an extended terrace overlooking the swimming pool and offers an excellent view of the mountain and the surrounding garden. It serves hearty mouth watering culinary delights prepared from world’s best Cuisines.
For a more memorable dining experience, bush dinners/breakfast can be pre arranged. Apart from the main restaurant, poolside barbeques is a perfect place to dine under the watch and sound of bird life with the flamingo pool bar serving refreshing drinks in a picturesque setting.
