5 Days Kenya Safari – Nairobi, Lake Nakuru & Maasai Mara Itinerary.

Day 1 | Arrival in Nairobi.

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be welcomed by your professional driver-guide and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi.

Depending on your arrival time, you can spend the afternoon relaxing at the hotel or enjoy an optional activity in Nairobi.

Day 2 | Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park.

After breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park, enjoying the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley along the way.

Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and have lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive.

Lake Nakuru is famous for its rhinos and offers opportunities to see lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and numerous bird species.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 | Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara National Reserve.

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and drive to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Arrive at your lodge/camp in time for lunch. After some time to relax, head out for an afternoon game drive.

Explore the Mara’s beautiful savannah plains while searching for lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 | Full-Day Maasai Mara Safari.

Enjoy an early breakfast before setting out for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch.

Spend the day exploring the reserve and searching for the Big Five. The Maasai Mara is renowned for its abundant wildlife and spectacular landscapes.

Your safari will provide excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. Depending on the season, you may also have the opportunity to witness the Great Migration.

Return to your lodge/camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 | Maasai Mara – Nairobi.

Enjoy an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast.

After breakfast and check-out, begin your drive back to Nairobi. Enjoy the changing scenery as you leave the Mara and travel through the Kenyan countryside.

Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, depending on your onward travel arrangements.
