4 Days Tarangire & Ngorongoro Safari Itinerary.

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha.

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your safari representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the hotel and prepare for the safari ahead.

Overnight: Arusha.
Meal Plan: Bed & Breakfast.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park.

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive, with opportunities to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and many bird species.

In the late afternoon, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Overnight: Tarangire Area.
Meal Plan: Full Board.

Day 3: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The crater is home to an exceptional concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before continuing with the game drive. Later in the afternoon, ascend from the crater and proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Area.
Meal Plan: Full Board.

Day 4: Ngorongoro – Kilimanjaro International Airport.

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back towards Kilimanjaro International Airport. Depending on your international flight departure time, you may have time for a relaxed morning before your airport transfer.
