16-Day Kenya Safari & Diani Beach Itinerary.

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi.

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and recovering from your journey.

Overnight: Nairobi.

Day 2: Nairobi – Ol’ Pejeta Conservancy.

After breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive to Ol’ Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive where you may see elephants, lions, rhinos, zebras, giraffes and other wildlife.

Overnight: Ol’ Pejeta.

Day 3: Ol’ Pejeta – Samburu National Reserve.

After breakfast, depart for Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Samburu is famous for its unique wildlife species, including the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and Somali ostrich.

Overnight: Samburu.

Day 4: Full Day Samburu National Reserve.

Spend a full day exploring Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes along the Ewaso Ng’iro River and look out for elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs and Samburu’s unique northern species.

Overnight: Samburu.

Day 5: Samburu – Aberdare Game Reserve.

After breakfast, depart Samburu and drive towards the Aberdare region. Arrive at your lodge and enjoy lunch before an afternoon experience in the area. The Aberdare ecosystem is known for its lush forests, waterfalls and mountain scenery.

Overnight: Aberdare.

Day 6: Aberdare – Lake Nakuru National Park.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy a game drive in the park, famous for its rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, lions and beautiful lake scenery. Later, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Overnight: Lake Nakuru.

Day 7: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve.

After breakfast, depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. The Mara is one of Kenya’s most famous wildlife destinations and offers excellent opportunities to see the Big Five.

Overnight: Masai Mara.

Day 8: Full Day Masai Mara National Reserve.

Enjoy a full day exploring the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs and other wildlife. Depending on the season, you may also witness the Great Migration.

Overnight: Masai Mara.

Day 9: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, enjoy a boat ride on the lake, where you can see hippos and a variety of bird species. Later, visit Crescent Island for a walking safari among wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and antelopes.

Overnight: Lake Naivasha.

Day 10: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park.

After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive with spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Look out for Amboseli’s large elephant herds and other wildlife.

Overnight: Amboseli.

Day 11: Full Day Amboseli National Park.

Spend a full day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. Enjoy the park’s famous elephant herds, open savannahs and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Overnight: Amboseli.

Day 12: Amboseli – Nairobi – Train to Mombasa.

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and transfer towards Nairobi. Proceed to the railway station for your SGR train to Mombasa. Upon arrival in Mombasa, transfer to your accommodation in Diani Beach.

Overnight: Diani Beach.

Day 13: Diani Beach – Leisure Day.

Enjoy a relaxing day at Diani Beach. Spend the day swimming, relaxing on the white sandy beach or enjoying optional water activities.

Overnight: Diani Beach.

Day 14: Diani Beach – Leisure & Beach Activities.

Enjoy another day in Diani. You may choose optional activities such as snorkeling, diving, a dhow cruise or simply relax at the hotel and enjoy the beach.

Overnight: Diani Beach.

Day 15: Diani Beach – Leisure Day.

Your final full day in Diani is free for relaxation and optional activities. Enjoy the beautiful Indian Ocean coastline before your departure the following day.

Overnight: Diani Beach.

Day 16: Diani – Mombasa Airport – Departure.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Moi International Airport in Mombasa for your flight home. International flight is not included in the package price
