Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve.

You will be picked up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi in the morning and begin your journey north to Samburu National Reserve. Enjoy a scenic drive through central Kenya, passing Nanyuki and Isiolo before arriving in Samburu.

Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch. Later in the afternoon, you may enjoy an en-route game drive as you head to your accommodation.

The road journey from Nairobi typically takes around 6–7 hours, depending on traffic, stops and your exact accommodation.

Day 2: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve.

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Samburu National Reserve with a packed lunch.

Spend the day exploring the reserve and searching for elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs and Samburu’s unique wildlife species, including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Beisa oryx and Somali ostrich.

Enjoy your picnic lunch at a designated location before continuing with your afternoon game drive.
