7 Days Out of Africa Air Safari: Tsavo West, Amboseli & Masai Mara

This morning you will be picked from your hotel in Mombasa and transferred to Mombasa Airport for your flight to Tsavo West – one of the largest wildlife conservation areas on Earth and is one of the largest national parks in Kenya. The park has abundant wildlife, diverse landscapes with several volcanic craters and interesting hills. After lunch at Kilaguni Serena, enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Two game drives are scheduled for this day. The extensive diverse habitats offer ideal area to search for pride of lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffe, zebras, hippos and wildebeests.

Mzima Spring, underground water seepage from Chyulu hills is a good place to watch the Hippos, Crocodiles and Fish. There is also a wealth and diversity of birds’ species. Accommodation: Kilaguni Safari Lodge Serena

After breakfast, depart for Amboseli via game drive enroute arriving in time for lunch. Upon arrival at the lodge we check-in and lunch follows. Later we have some time to relax, swim and enjoy the camps/lodge grounds, before setting out on the afternoon game drive. Amboseli offers some of the best opportunities to see African animals because its vegetation is sparse due to the long dry months.

Amboseli National Park is home to wild animals, which include the African elephant, buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, hyena, giraffes, zebra, and wildebeest among other African animals.

There is also a host of Kenya birds, both large and small, to see if you keep your eyes open and stop at every sighting.

Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another stimulating game drive.

Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including African elephant, buffalo, impala, lion, cheetah, hyena, giraffes, zebra, and wildebeest among other African animals.

We return back to our lodge/ camp for breakfast. The rest of the morning at leisure or you may opt to use this time to visit a Masai village and learn more about the Masai culture and customs. You will learn how the Masai huts are made from dung, how they start a fire, how to milk a goat and enjoy their traditional dances where they jump and sing.

Midday finds us at our lodge for lunch and afternoon rest followed by another extensive game drive in the evening. Later we return lodge for dinner and overnight.

This morning after breakfast, fly to   Africa’s world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. On arrival, be met by your safari bush guide and transferred to camp. After lunch, experience your first game drive. With the wide open game plains to the south and lush forest to the north, explore the world renowned Mara-Serengeti ecosystem in complete, uninterrupted exclusivity in this private and protected conservancy.

Awake beneath a bright Kenyan sky, and enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The reserve has the highest density of predators and plains game of any wilderness in the world, and is home to the most thrilling, awe-inspiring natural spectacle on the planet – the Great Migration. Our full day in the Masai Mara Game Reserve will be spared for the search of the big cats of the Masai Mara and the spectacular view of the famous migration.

All of the "Big Five" animals (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo) can be spotted here. Herds of plains zebras are found throughout the park. Other animals include giraffes, jackals, gnus, warthogs, gazelles, hartebeests, hyenas, bat-eared foxes, Topi antelope, hippos and crocodiles in the Mara River.

For bird lovers, the Mara birds come in every color and size. More than 400 bird species have already been recorded, including birds of prey.

You can enjoy a colorful view of birds such as vultures, ostriches, long-crested eagles, pygmy falcons, secretary birds, marabous, red-winged Schalow's turacos many others.

In the morning go for an ealy game drive. Later return to the camp for breakfast. You will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Mombasa.
