Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha.

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your safari representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. The rest of the day is free to relax and recover from your journey.

Overnight: Arusha Hotel – Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park.

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive towards Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival, enter the park for a game drive exploring its diverse landscapes, including groundwater forests, open plains and the shores of the alkaline lake.

Lake Manyara is known for its large elephant population, baboons, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and a variety of bird species. With luck, you may also spot the park’s famous tree-climbing lions.

After the game drive, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Overnight: Lake Manyara.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Central Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through the scenic landscapes of northern Tanzania before entering the Serengeti.

Upon arrival, begin your game drive as you make your way towards your accommodation. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast plains and exceptional wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and numerous antelope species.

Continue with an afternoon game drive before proceeding to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive – Central Serengeti.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of game viewing in the Central Serengeti.

The Central Serengeti is an excellent area for year-round wildlife viewing and is particularly known for its large concentrations of predators and resident wildlife. You will spend the day exploring different areas of the park in search of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and a variety of bird species.

A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the park, allowing you to maximize your time on safari before continuing with the afternoon game drive.

Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Overnight: Serengeti Lodge.

Day 5: Central Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area & Crater.

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, enjoy game viewing as you leave the Serengeti.

Descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day crater game drive. The crater is home to an impressive concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and various antelope species. It is also one of the places where you may have an opportunity to see the endangered black rhinoceros.

Enjoy a picnic lunch within the crater before continuing your game drive. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and proceed to your lodge on the crater rim or in the surrounding area for dinner and overnight.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Kilimanjaro International Airport – Departure.

After breakfast, depart the Ngorongoro area and drive towards Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound international flight.

Depending on your flight departure time, there may be an opportunity for a relaxed morning before beginning the transfer to the airport.
