Day 1
Nairobi City to Maasai Mara

At 8 am, you will be picked up from your hotel within the city centre/Westland area and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Lunch will be at a restaurant on the way. In the evening at 4.30pm depart for a sunset game viewing drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve where chances of seeing the big cats is extremely high.

Return back to the camp/lodge for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting.
Maasai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai Mara is the wonder of the world.

Day 2
Masai Mara Game Reserve

Have breakfast at 6:30 am and at 7 pm, leave for a full day game viewing in the park. On this day, spend the full day exploring Masai Mara in search of the big five, hippos and Nile crocodile. Thereafter, go for picnic lunch in park under a croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park.

Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Masai village for a Masai cultural tour at USD 20. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people. An overnight at the Masai village can be organized upon request.

A balloon safari at USD 380 per person can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

Day 3:
Masai Mara to Nakuru

You will enjoy the last early morning game drive in Mara Reserve followed by breakfast. Thereafter commence the drive to Nakuru.

Day 4
Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha/Hell's Gate

PART TWO:

This is private safari to Naivasha/ Hell’s Gate

You will have an early breakfast and depart by 7am to straight to the park. It’s a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos. The game drive lasts 3 hours, after which you depart on a 3-hour drive back to Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch at hotel Taphe.

In the afternoon, go for an hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing.

Day 5:
Lake Naivasha – Nairobi

Breakfast at the resort and thereafter proceed to Hell’s Gate for biking safari with a visit to the gorges.

At around 11 am, drive to Taphe Guest for lunch. After lunch, drive back to Nairobi with drop off at your hotel or airport.
