6-Day Uganda Gorilla & Wildlife Safari Itinerary.

Day 1 – Arrival at Entebbe International Airport.

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you will be met by your safari representative and transferred to your accommodation in Entebbe/Kampala. The rest of the day is free to relax and recover from your journey.

Overnight: Entebbe/Kampala.

Day 2 – Entebbe/Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After breakfast, depart Entebbe/Kampala and drive southwest towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy the scenic countryside and beautiful landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, check in at your accommodation and relax.

Overnight: Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 3 – Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari & Boat Safari.

Start the day with an early morning jeep game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park. Search for elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, antelopes and other wildlife.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its large concentration of hippos, crocodiles and waterbirds. The boat safari also provides excellent opportunities for wildlife photography.

Overnight: Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 4 – Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and drive towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes you through beautiful southwestern Ugandan landscapes, local communities and rolling hills.

Arrive in Bwindi and check in at your lodge. The rest of the day is free to relax and prepare for the following day’s gorilla trekking experience.

Overnight: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 5 – Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Rushaga.

After an early breakfast, proceed to the Rushaga sector for briefing before beginning your mountain gorilla trekking experience.

Trek through the dense Bwindi forest in search of a habituated gorilla family and spend time observing these magnificent primates in their natural habitat. The trek can take several hours depending on the location of the gorilla family.

After the trek, return to your lodge to relax and enjoy the evening.

Overnight: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 6 – Bwindi to Entebbe/Kampala & Departure.

After breakfast, begin your drive back towards Entebbe/Kampala. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight home.

International flight home: Not included in the safari price.
