6-Day Uganda Chimpanzee & Wildlife Safari Itinerary.

Day 1 – Arrival at Entebbe International Airport.

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you will be met by your safari representative and transferred to your accommodation in Entebbe/Kampala. The rest of the day is free to relax and recover from your journey.

Overnight: Entebbe/Kampala.

Day 2 – Entebbe/Kampala to Kibale National Park.

After breakfast, depart Entebbe/Kampala and drive towards Kibale National Park. Enjoy the scenic journey through Uganda’s countryside, passing local communities, plantations and beautiful landscapes.

Upon arrival at Kibale, check in at your accommodation and relax.

Overnight: Kibale National Park.

Day 3 – Bigodi Wetland Walk & Chimpanzee Trekking.

After breakfast, visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided swamp walk. The sanctuary is known for its rich biodiversity, including monkeys, birds, butterflies and other wildlife.

Later, proceed to Kibale National Park for your chimpanzee trekking experience. Walk through the forest in search of habituated chimpanzee communities and observe them in their natural habitat.

After the trek, return to your lodge to relax and enjoy the evening.

Overnight: Kibale National Park.

Day 4 – Kibale National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park & Game Drive.

After breakfast, depart Kibale and drive towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a jeep game drive through the park, with opportunities to see elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, leopards and other wildlife.

After the game drive, proceed to your lodge for check-in and relaxation.

Overnight: Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 5 – Queen Elizabeth National Park Game Drive & Boat Safari.

Start the day with an early morning jeep game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park. Continue exploring the park’s diverse landscapes and searching for its abundant wildlife.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its large concentration of hippos, crocodiles and waterbirds. The boat safari also offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography.

Overnight: Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 6 – Queen Elizabeth National Park to Entebbe/Kampala & Departure.

After breakfast, begin your drive back to Entebbe/Kampala. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight home.

International flight home: Not included in the safari price.
