11-Day Uganda Culture, Wildlife & Adventure Safari.

Day 1 – Arrival at Entebbe International Airport.

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax and enjoy the surroundings of Entebbe.

Overnight: Entebbe.

Day 2 – Kampala City Tour & Ugandan Cooking Experience.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided Kampala city tour, exploring some of the city’s main attractions, local markets and cultural sites.

Later, take part in a Ugandan cooking experience, where you will learn how to prepare delicious traditional Ugandan dishes using locally sourced ingredients. Enjoy the meal you have prepared before returning to your accommodation.

Overnight: Kampala/Entebbe.

Day 3 – Entebbe/Kampala to Sipi Falls & Coffee Experience.

After breakfast, begin your journey eastwards towards Sipi Falls, enjoying the changing scenery and countryside along the way.

Upon arrival, visit the small coffee plantations around Sipi Falls. Learn about the traditional coffee-growing process, from harvesting and processing to roasting and tasting the locally produced coffee.

Overnight: Sipi Falls.

Day 4 – Sipi Falls to Moroto via Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve.

After breakfast, depart Sipi Falls and travel towards Moroto, passing through the scenic Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve.

Continue towards the Karamoja region and experience the unique culture of the Karamojong people. Meet local communities and learn about their traditional lifestyle, customs and cultural heritage.

Overnight: Moroto.

Day 5 – Moroto to Kidepo Valley National Park.

After breakfast, depart Moroto and continue northwards towards Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Uganda’s most remote and spectacular wildlife destinations.

Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation and enjoy the beautiful wilderness surroundings. Depending on arrival time, there may be an opportunity for a short exploration of the park.

Overnight: Kidepo Valley National Park.

Day 6 – Walking Safari & Game Drive in Kidepo Valley National Park.

Begin the morning with a guided walking safari in Kidepo Valley National Park. Explore the wilderness on foot while learning about the park’s wildlife, vegetation, tracks and smaller species.

Later, enjoy a jeep safari through the park’s vast savannah plains. Kidepo is home to elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, lions and many other species.

Overnight: Kidepo Valley National Park.

Day 7 – Kidepo Valley to Murchison Falls National Park.

After breakfast, depart Kidepo Valley National Park and begin the journey towards Murchison Falls National Park.

Enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel through northern Uganda towards the park. Upon arrival, check in at your accommodation and relax.

Overnight: Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 8 – Murchison Falls Game Drive, Boat Safari & Top of the Falls.

Start the day with an exciting jeep safari in Murchison Falls National Park. Explore the savannah in search of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, lions and other wildlife.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Victoria Nile towards Murchison Falls. The river is home to hippos, crocodiles and numerous bird species.

Later, visit the Top of Murchison Falls and enjoy a short hike to the viewpoint, where you can witness the Nile being forced through the narrow gorge.

Overnight: Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 9 – Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park & Community Experience.

After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls National Park and drive southwards towards Kibale National Park.

Along the way, experience the rural side of Uganda and, upon arrival in the Kibale area, spend time with local communities. Learn about their daily lives, traditions, agriculture and relationship with the surrounding environment.

Overnight: Kibale National Park.

Day 10 – Bigodi Wetland Walk & Chimpanzee Trekking.

After breakfast, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided swamp walk. The sanctuary is renowned for its rich biodiversity, birdlife, primates and beautiful vegetation.

Later, head into Kibale National Park for chimpanzee trekking. Walk through the rainforest with experienced guides in search of chimpanzees and other primates inhabiting the forest.

Overnight: Kibale National Park.

Day 11 – Kibale to Entebbe/Kampala & Departure.

After breakfast, begin the drive back to Entebbe/Kampala. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time to relax or enjoy a final stop along the way.

Continue to Entebbe International Airport for your flight home.

Flight home is not included in the safari price.
